Thanks for stopping by! Home Run Cakes LLC is a state licensed and inspected bakery in the northeast Columbus, Ohio area.
I specialize in all from-scratch, natural cakes, fillings, fondant, and frostings. All cakes are custom made creations - which means they are made fresh for you as an individual edible work of art. Home Run Cakes does not have a traditional bakery storefront or items kept on hand for immediate pickup.
I don't use any high fructose corn syrup or hydrogenated oil (Crisco) in my home. I buy locally-produced ingredients when possible, including eggs from cage-free chickens who live on a nearby farm. They taste SO much better because the chickens are free to roam -- and the eggs I buy haven't been sitting in cold storage for weeks!
My buttercreme is just that -- BUTTER creme. Creamy and delicious, a meringue frosting so it's not over the top sweet, and it's made with all real butter. It doesn't leave behind a sugary film in your mouth like shortening based frostings. My fondant is also all homemade with only real ingredients. (And actually TASTES good too! Really!)
