About us
The mission of the LeBleu Settlement Farmers Market is to build the LeBleu Settlement community and promote sustainable farming and economic development by providing a forum for our community, farmers, and consumers.
Market Goals:
1. Educating consumer about local farming and seasonality of production by emphasizing and promoting the Buy Local/Buy Fresh/Buy Louisiana program.
2. Provide a place for small family farms to sell their goods directly to consumers.
3. Assist new entrepreneurs who sell food and farm related products.
4. Bring community together by developing a strong producer and giving back to our community.
All persons who actually produce fruits, vegetables, plants, herbs, flowers, meats, eggs, baked goods, jellies, jams, honey and other products that they intend to sell; such as: crafts, etc., are eligible to participate.
