Hi I'm Bec.
I have been in the pet sitting and dog walking industry since 2003. I started out as an employee for a popular pet sitting and dog walking company on Sydney's Northern Beaches whilst also studying part time at TAFE completing the Zookeeping Certificate 3. After approximately 4 years with this company I took time out to have my two children. We then moved to the Gold Coast and for 2 years I was a contractor for a large and well known pet sitting business here on the Gold Coast.
Now I have decided to start up Bec's Pet Care. I love being able to provide your precious pets with the love and attention they need and deserve when you are away or at work. Some pets are not suited to kennels and catteries so pet sitting is the best option. Being in their own environment with familiar surroundings helps to ease a nervous/anxious pet when you're away.
The special friendships I develop with your pets is a true joy for me and one of the main reasons I have been pet sitting for so long. I know your pets are a valuable part of your family and love nurturing them the same way they get spoiled and loved by their "mum's and dad's".
I have also completed the PetTech CPR and first aid course which enables me to help your pet in an emergency situation whilst they are in my care. Of course we hope to never have to use these skills but best to be safe than sorry.
