  Does anyone have a recommendation for an SSI attorney? My ex-wife and mother of my three children has been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer and is unable to work. I did some research it looks like she qualifies for SSI and I want to make sure her application for her and the children goes as quickly and they receive whatever benefit they are entitled to. If anyone has a recommendation for an attorney it would be greatly appreciated.

  If she needs health coverage she can apply to the State Medical Review Team (SMRT) to qualify for medical assistance. There are a couple of agencies that can help with this process. You should call the Disability Linkage Line 1-866-333-2466 or go on mnhelp.info

  I sometimes work with a group called Disability Specialists for clients who are trying to get on disability. The other great resources is Disability Linkage Line 1-866-333-2466, they probably have good advice.

  Does anyone know of someone with a scooter or power wheelchair to donate? My son who works with long term homeless, getting them into transitional housing, has someone in need, but the guy has no insurance and no income (because he has no valid SSN). He would be very happy to pick it up anywhere, anytime.
