The alterations are so simple that I could have done them myself (and I have almost no sewing experience, and NO clothing alteration experience), but I figured that a "professional" would do a cleaner, nicer job. What a mistake. 2 of the dresses are ruined completely, two *may* be salvageable IF I manage to find an extremely able seamstress. I cannot stress this enough - AVOID. The alterations were not done evenly, instructions were not followed, measurements taken by her at the time to ensure that the work was properly done were either ignored or lost or ? So - after paying $60 to have her alter my 4 dresses, I am out over $200 in dresses (all hard to find prints) and will have to pay more to have the damage (if possible) repaired. Extremely disappointed.
