  My son's Jacket zipper broke and I need to find an alteration place or seamstress who can fix it. It is one of those thick coat zippers. Im worried it may be hard to find a place/person who can help. My son is Autistic and I've purchased so many coats and the material of this coat seems to be the only one he can wear without going into hysterics. The feel of material has always been a strong sensitivity for him. Does anyone know a seamstress/alterations place that may be able to work on these kinds of large zipper projects? I'm not too familiar with Chilliwack on this front. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

It's going to be a major size alteration (down at least two, if not three sizes for most of the dress because of how it was ordered and measured incorrectly.) Just in case my personal connections won't have time/resources? David's Bridal just retracted their original estimate and quoted me an insane price. Even if that is the cost, I would rather pay locally for the work to be done properly. I need it for September 2nd to be safe. I know it's busy season so it may be difficult to find someone competent and good-priced.
