About us
Everyone dreams of a beautiful garden but it can be hard to find time to make it a reality.
The Girl who Gardens is Renée; a RHS qualified gardener specialising in smaller gardens, border and planting design giving garden owners the confidence to grow the garden of their dreams.
You tell me what you want from your outside space and then we can discuss what you need to make that happen. It may be that the layout of your garden doesn’t work for you or the planting is underwhelming. You may dream of borders full of colour or of picking vegetables all through the summer but don’t have a lot of time or aren’t sure how to get there. Maybe you’ve taken on a garden that is too much and you want some help making it lower maintenance or even have new additions to the family that are putting different demands on the space and you need help visualising how it could work for all of you.
If you need some practical and effective advice without being overwhelmed with Latin names and gardening jargon, give me a call. These are the sorts of things I have done for others:
• Provided practical advice on maintaining plants, lawns and allotments
• Re-designed whole gardens and re-shaped borders
• Shared ideas on the best use of space
• Developed planting lists and plans
• Taken clients shopping for plants to pick the right plants for the right place and to create planting combinations that create interest all year round
