  Just curious if anyone has a mechanic close to Sabin they like and trust. We have 2 Honda accords, one 1997, one 2006. I've been going to Specialty Auto at 72nd and Glisan for years, but they're only open Mon-Fri 9-5, and I really wish there were a mechanic I knew within walking distance of my house, preferably with more than 9-5 weekday hours only. Any suggestions?

  Miriam, I'm not sure this meets your "walk to" classification but it's a bit closer. We have been using Metro Metrics (http://www.metrometric.com/) at SE 10 th & Washington for years for our Honda and Nissan. They have kept our 1984 Nissan truck running against all odds. They aren't open on Saturdays but have early drop-off arrangements and I can't say enough good things about their honesty and reasonable prices. And more importantly, the fix it right!
