Poochy Doos is a fun pet sitting, dog walking, and dog hiking company servicing the pet care needs of pet lovers in Fort Collins and Loveland. Our vision of care is centered around the principles of health, happiness and peace of mind! We're licensed by the Colorado State Department of Agriculture, Members of Pet Sitters International, National Association of Professional Pet Sitters, Pet Professional Guild, Bonded, Insured and we're Accredited in Pet 1st Aid & CPR.
OUR STORY
Here at The Poochy, we’ve always believed that life is better with friends. While there are lots of hefty things to aim for when opening a pet care business, our aim has always been simple: to be a good and trustworthy friend. This friendship started, on a very personal level, with our own pets. Although many people poo-poo anthropomorphism, none of them have ever met my cat or know my dog. The fact remains, there were always things too beneath my cat to even consider and my dog understands me in a way that no one else does. Our animals are a central part of our family. And that became the genesis of our thought – to revere that very personal space that our pets occupy in our hearts. What do we want for our pets when we leave them in someone else’s care?
Here at The Poochy, that is our starting point: getting to know and love your pets as only you know and love them. We want to know what your pet’s life is like with you so that we can be their best friend in your absence. In fact, that’s our motto: “Your Best Friend’s Friend.” At the end of the day, our goal is to enrich your pet’s life by loving and caring for them in all the many tender and delightful ways they deserve.
