I am so excited to introduce Trend Events!


I have always had a flare for entertaining and in this case I think the majority of the reason why is because the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I grew up helping my mom host everything from dinner parties, neighborhood picnics, holiday events and everything in between.

None of these events were your "typical" parties. The dinner parties consisted of either Murder Mystery Parties, or even dinner parties where the menu was in a different language and you as the guest had to order everything from your utensil, meal and drink....so most often guests would end up with soup, beer and if they were lucky a napkin!

Holidays were especially exciting since everything had to be themed so shopping for the perfect napkins and decorations was almost like a treasure hunt!

As I grew older and moved out on my own I too started to have my own themed parties and finally became "that friend" who always hosts/plans the baby showers, wedding showers, birthday parties, stag/stagettes, weddings....whatever...if you can think about it chances are I've either hosted it or planned it and if not I would LOVE the opportunity to do it!!!

I feel one of the most important aspects of Event Planning is not only coming up with the idea's but actually finding or being able to make your vision come alive. This is not only one thing I am great at, but I truly enjoy every aspect of it....including the SHOPPING :)

I think one of the biggest misconceptions when it comes to events and event planners is cost. People feel that in order to have an amazing event/function it will cost big bucks. One of my goals is to eliminate this. Any event no matter the size can be done on a budget WITH OUT looking like it was. I feel that my love for shopping does give me an upper hand on finding amazing deals, but also as a part time flight attendant I am privileged to be able to travel around North America and really find great deals on items that would normally cost more... show more
