About us

Air tour operations start May 1, 2014! We operate on customer demand during the first 10 days of each month, May through November, but please call anytime as these available days may change. Our area of operation allows us to operate out of the Johnson County Airport, in Buffalo, WY, to a distance of 25 statute miles, in any direction, from the airport.

This area will allow a multitude of hiking trails to be seen from the air, Cloud Peak, Bomber Mountain, Black Tooth Mountain, Florence Pass, the Story Thrust, Bozeman Trail Fort Phil Kearny, the Fetterman Battlefield, the Wagon Box fight, Lake DeSmet, the TA Ranch and the Tisdale divide. These sights should appeal to local residents, tourists, hunters and hikers, hoping to see the area from a different or new perspective.

The Cessna 182, pictured above, is a 1956 model, the first year of this particular Cessna product. It is a 4 seat airplane, powered by a 470 Cubic Inch (7.7L) piston engine, producing 230 hp with a maximum cruising speed of approximately 155 mph. However, the nature of flightseeing being what it is, affording the opportunities for photography and getting a better lay of the land, so to speak, means that the operating speeds are much more leisurely, mostly in the 100-115 mph range.
