I've posted on a few threads here but thought of perhaps starting a new one here - we're looking for projects and clothes/ food banks that specifically support refugees in the South London area in order to divert some of the clothes we received for Calais Action which isn't suitable for camp and would really welcome suggestions from everyone. Message from Norwood Foodbank: "We have a number of families at foodbank who are in desperate need of good quality clean school uniform that families no longer need to enable their children to go back to school with uniform or indeed start a new school We are looking for basic colours blue, black and grey trousers and skirts. Basic jumpers, cardigans Basic shirts and tee shirts There are various schools and sizes. If anyone has anything and can drop it to Norwood Foodbank at St Luke's Church next Tuesday 10am 1pm would be amazing. Please help if you can. Much appreciated

  There is a food bank collection point at the food market every Saturday and the stuff is brought down regularly to West Norwood. Alternatively The Foodbank take collections on tuesdays and friday at St Lukeshttp://norwoodbrixton.foodbank.org.uk/ - check the website for collection times - it's not all day.
