  http://www.museumsrv.org/ Here is the link to the San Ramon Valley Museum. (I goofed, it was not a mansion, rather the actual SP depot!) The author was Irma Dotson, and I believe she is still working to preserve the history of the area. Also, if I remember correctly, and Yahoo has not trimmed to archives, there should be some very good information on this very board. I think it was three years ago, that I raised questions about the "Danville Branch" of the SN (OA&E), and that opened the flood gate from some terrific historians such as Key Route Ken, Stash, Bob Campbell, etc. Take some time to comb the archives of this board. O
