  Hi Sam! I was just talking with Mike Gray of Gray and Co Plumbing here in Bedford about the same thing! There is actually a way to convert an oil furnace to gas, fyi, but it sounds like with the crack you do need a whole new system and a fresh start. Give Mike a call- he can help! 781 275 1233.
