  We stayed at the Belvedere Hotel twice. Excellent location. There is a bodega at the end of the street that has AWESOME sandwiches and is great for a late night snack. I would also try Airbnb (a friend did this last year and they had much more room than a typical NY hotel room and it was much cheaper. http://www.belvederehotelnyc.com/

  Alright NY TRB'ers -- since Rizky fails at hotel suggestions :p -- I need suggestions of hotels that are reasonable in price, in decent condition where we don't have to worry about bringing friends home in our luggage, & in a good area for tourists -- planning on heading out there for a week in September when the Giants are in town to play the Mets & Yankees.

  www.belvederehotelnyc.com - usually well under $200 great location ask for a corner room - it is part apartments part hotel rooms but great lobby, guest service, etc about 2 blocks from Times Square
