  Reaching out on a long shot tonight. I am in desperate need of a vet for my precious furbaby Sammie. Here is the back story. We have had a terrible battle with fleas this year. A month ago I took him to a vetmin Woodstock that was recommended by a coworker. They checked him over and said the fleas were the big problem. I also have another cat as well and they are both strictly inside cats. Have been using the capstar on both as well as topical and treating the house. Sammie got a little better but in the last few days has stopped eating, drinking or using the litterbox. The reason I am looking for a vet who will help me is that the first one wouldn't. After spending over $200 they still wanted another $200 to do blood work and labs. I would gladly have paid it if they would have worked with me. I have a steady job but don't have alot of discretionary income but willing to do what I can. My sweet Sammie is about 11yrs old and has been with me thru thick and thin since he was about 2. I am so scared I am going to loose him. Is there anyone that knows of a vet who can help me? Like I said I know it is a long shot but had to try.
