  Titusville friends, I am looking for a new doctor for my mom. Her present doctor is not exactly a quack, but not engaged actively when she sees my mom. My mom tells me that she "puts on an act" when I am there and asks more questions, etc. She does not even look at my mom's feet (she's diabetic) and I have to point out that they are somewhat swollen, etc. I think it would be good for a person of my mom's age to see an internist rather than a Family practitioner or general practitioner. thanks. I tried taking her to Dr. Tronneti a couple of years ago, but that did not work out. Dr. Tronneti seemed great, but when she suggested assisted living my mom said she'd never go back.
