Looking for a contractor for house stuff I'm looking for recommendations on contractors that can help me with some home re-modeling. I'm wanting to get
* wood floors
* stained concreted floors in bathrooms and kitchen
* kitchen cabinets sanded painted
* granite counter tops in kitchen and bathrooms
* bathroom remodel
* new shower in bathroom.
To sum up, floors, updated kitchen, and re-model on bathroom. I've talked to a few but one never showed up to give estimate and the other never sent estimate. Looking for someone trustworthy, someone that I can see their work, someone that won't over commit or over promise on their talents.
Thanks for any and all recommendations.

I've used [Coxco remodeling](http://www.coxcogc.com/). They've been around for a good while, but as far as I can tell, John Cox is still the only sales guy. You know that old saying, "Good, fast, cheap - pick any two?" John's guys do good work, and I haven't had any schedule overruns. Get out your checkbook :-) In one case, John did lower his bid to match a competing bid. I would NOT go with Statewide Remodeling. [This guy's experience](https://www.reddit.com/r/Dallas/comments/2 btt7 x/statewide_remodelings_high_pressure_sales_job/) pretty well matches mine.
Looking for a North Dallas/Plano area contractor(s) for bids. Any recommendations? Type of work is everything from the ground to the roof: floors, plumbing, phones, electric, walls, ducts, ceilings, windows, siding, and roof.

I've heard good things about [Coxco](http://www.coxcogc.com/). I liked the guy who came to my place, but I haven't seen their quote yet. There was a recent [discussion about Statewide Remodeling](http://www.reddit.com/r/Dallas/comments/2 btt7 x/statewide_remodelings_high_pressure_sales_job/) that looks instructive. I won't be calling them :-) I also recently got a quote from HomePro Services. They seemed on the up-and-up, but I got the feeling they were more geared towards people getting their houses ready to sell. (They were notably unconcerned about the mold on the ceiling of my bathroom. "Just paint over it.")
Anyone have a good experience with a general contractor in the Garland area? Woke up to a leaky external condensate pan that has caused a bunch of ceiling damage. Yuck.
