I was thinking about getting a little more serious about taking pictures, after all, i live near Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge and Cocoa Beach, might as well take advantage of the scenery. But sadly all i have is an iPod that i use now (sorry lol). Can anyone recommend a somewhat inexpensive starter camera for the budding photographer? Thanks very much for your time.

  Geoff has a good point. You need to consider what kind of shooting you'd like to do and what your budget is.
