  HELP! Anyone know a good computer repair person that can check out my Macbook? I spilled a little water on it near the charging port. Not too much but it won't work. I took it into Apple and they pulled my hard drive just in case, but wanted $750 just to ship it out to have it looked at with no guarantee to fix. The Macbook is 4 years old so I am overdue for a new one. I'm going to get another one but hate to let this one go to waste. He said there's a little corrosion on the motherboard but it's not too bad. If I can get this one fixed up so I can give it to someone in my family or a friend, that would make me feel better than wasting $1500. Anyone know of someone that can take a look at it that won't cost me half the price of the computer itself? I was going to just trash it but I'm thinking it can be salvaged and someone can get some good use out of it. Thanks West Hills!

  I also recommend Planet Cyber and try to stay away from Apple products.
