  I need some help from a Baysider. My husband and I are flying up from Florida early tomorrow morning. We are staying in Bayside. I have not been in Bayside in over 37 years. We have no idea where we can go for dinner tomorrow night. Not looking for anything to really celebrate. We are flying up for his mom's funeral which is on Sunday. We are flying up early tomorrow morning and was wondering if anyone can recommend a restaurant near Bell Boulevard or Northern Boulevard that is no big deal that we don't need a reservation because we really don't want to celebrate. We just want to go out to eat. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Especially if we do not have to make reservations. Thanks !

  I'm sorry for your loss. Welcome back to Bayside. Most of the restaurants on or near Bell are good to great. My top three: • Donovan's for Irish pub atmosphere • Avli for Greek • Apertif for French/Meditteranean. Each of these are quiet and require no reservations.   Sorry for your loss. As for dinner suggestion... Donovan's of Bayside They actually won't take a reservation unless u have party of 8 or more. So u definitely can walk in.
