Hope you are ok! I see Dr. Ben Kittredge of Commonwealth Orthopaedics (Duke St in Alexandria). They take BCBS. He's also a runner! http://www.c-o-r.com/phys-microsite/kittredge-index.asp

Another good orthopedist is Dr. Rajeev Pandarinath at GW Orthopedics. He also takes BCBS. I've seen him in the past for injuries of mine that he's resolved and he is great. And he works with runners all the time! Hope everything is okay.

I second Ben Kittredge. Consistently rated a top doctor for the area, and he wants to keep you running. I went to him for a torn tendon, various tendonitis, and also several stress fractures.
