Dr. Kari Fraser(303-443-3487) and Dr. Michael Freedman(303-443-4487) are great with adults and families. Dr. Karen McCarthy(303-440-9982) and Dr. Bruce Casey(303-928-2301) are excellent with children and families. All would likely be good for referring in the greater Boulder area. All are well-trained in both psychotherapy and testing. Good luck!

Check out the Maria Droste Center. They take insurance and offer sliding scale (lower-cost sessions). There are a decent number of therapists there so they can help match you to someone who meets your needs.

Great job on deciding to investigate! I just want to suggest finding one who specializes in what you need, it can speed up the process by years.

Do you have any insurance? That's the first step if you do. Call your insurance and see what benefits you have. Also are you employed and do you an Employee Assistance Program? Call them if you do. If you have no insurance, then what county do you live in? How much are you willing to pay? Have you applied for Medicaid if you don't have insurance. We can recommend the best therapist in the world, but isn't helpful if it's not affordable or covered by your insurance
