Just curious who you are changing from. Been going to Mountain View for decades. 2 years ago our dalmation had terrible allergies (the breed is known for them, but it was extreme). He was at the vet 6 times in 4 months with no results & I felt as if Dr. Dickey just threw his hands in the air. Took him to Dr. Wright at Ontario Veterinary & I really liked him. However, he reiterated Dr. Dickey's diagnoses & treatments, it was a horrible allergy year for dogs & basically he talked me into going back to Dr. Dickey. I like him for his honesty, and I did go back to Mountain View. Their new vet, Dr. Shawna is awesome!!!

My pug is having bad allergies right now too Mary. She'll be 3 next month & this is the worst it's been. Haven't taken her to vet yet. I'm bathing her a few times a week & she's scratching less. Dr. Dickey will usually give a cortisone shot & cortisone pills. She's my first small dog & baby, don't want to subject her to that unless it's absolutely necessary! None of my dogs actually, but she is a princess!
