Get a thyroid profile test done.. and visit the doc with the reports. My doc is Prasad Katulanda. Difficult to get an appointment with him, but I also go to Dr. Samanthi Cooray. Very patient doctor. Takes her time and explains things to you.

Met with Dr. Uditha bulugahapitiya few days back. Took time to discuss the issue and to thoroughly go through previous reports before recommending medication and a diet plan. A bit hard to get an appointment and can be consulted at nawaloka, durdans, Lanka hospitals and asiri. PS: pls inbox the name of the Doctor you visited, so may be in the future if I had to I can avoid meeting this person.

Dr. Devanand Jha in Lanka Hospital is the best in town. My mother had her thyroidectomy surgery a month ago and she's perfectly fine and fit! We too looked at soo many other doctors regarding moms thyroid and none really gave a proper solution until we reached Dr. Jha.

I consulted Prof Janaka de Silva who is a gastro enterelogist and he was SPOT ON with my thyroid issue - he consults at Durdans but be prepared to wait days for an appointment but worth every penny ..... fabulous doctor who does not waste a minute ...... he came highly recommended and is superb !!
