Recommendations for where to buy car stereo+installation, please. I've had it. I've been putting up with the radio for years because I have no tape deck, a broken CD...

I bought a good kenwood deck from [Atlantic Car Stereo](http://www.atlanticcarstereo.ca/). Deck, DIN unit, and wire harness was 160 ish bucks. I did the install myself though, so not sure on the price of that.

What kind of car do you have? If its older than you probably just need a deck and wiring harness. Usually if its newer you need a dash kit too. I saved some $ buying my stuff off ebay, but walmart and futureshop/bestbuy will have stuff cheap too. Halifax Car Audio charges $40 for install iirc.

Check for sales at future shop and Best buy. Seen discounted slightly used/returned ones around $80-130. You'll need a writing harness and likely a dash kit/din Mount which can be custom ordered unless you don't do CDs. Then just cut some black rigid foam to keep it put. If you wanna do cheap..... I bought an inverter, took my 5.1 computer Logitech sound system, and an mp3 player. Ran inverter under seats to sub and center channel with all controls to where my deck used to be. Shoved speakers into corners of car.. Worked really well surprisingly. After the summer I put the speakers back on my computer and returned the inverter before the 90 days for refund.

Ebay/Amazon and DIY. Or maybe a non-Futureshop-or-Walmart local store like Atlantic Car Stereo and DIY. If you're comfortable with learning as you go, doing it yourself will save mad cash.
