I have left my lab at Bali Kennel in Sanur and he was fine. I got him a good sized room and he made friends with other dogs. He definitely didn't sleep in a cage.

I went the other day to the new kennel in Puri Gading on the Bukit. This is what I saw: the cages for the dogs are so small it is hardly okay for small breeds, but most of the dogs are big ones. The whole place is definetely not safe. And the guy who showed me the place had a big white stick, with which, in 5 minutes, he hit at least 6 or seven dogs, just because they were paying attention to my visit. Definetely not a good place to leave your dog. Canggu Petresort is very nice but very fancy, hard to afford for some people. Harry Dog Stay in Sanur is definetely more simple and cheaper, but safe and dogs seem to be treated with love there...
Thanks everyone, River has found a place to lay his weary head over the next week

Do anyone know where we could find a female Rottweiler puppy? If you know a kennel or private who may have Rottweiler puppies for sale, please let us know.

Dear Amanda..To be frank I'm quite annoyed of some of the comments of this community (not only yours)! Do you think we are some tourist who want to buy a dog and then abandon them???? We are a family who has been living in Bali 10 years and continue.. We had our beloved Rottweiler for 8 years who recently passed away. She was a best friend to our daughter and we decided to get a new family member now and friend for her.. That was a reason why I posted my question here, to get some information and not negative comments.. To all of you there, please don't comment on this page things that you think you "know better" even if you don't. Thank you and please could you stop it. Thank you Electra for your nice comments and support:-) PS. I believe that our dear and now passed Daisy (Rottie) had a best home she could think of.. And of course we would take her with us if we someday would decide to move..
