i've used Dr Rattner in Island Park and i like her very much and her prices are fair. I've recently used Hilton Hospital for Animals in Lynbrook. dr strom seems very knowledgeable but the cost was really really pricey for me, and i asked about a multi-pet discount too.

Adela - i do highly recommend Island Park Animal Hospital with Dr Rattner. not sure what other people think but i am really angry i didn't take my cat to her this week vs now finding out what an ahole strom is. at least i know she would have been honest and would never do things just to charge me money.

I've been looking too. I live in Oceanside and I called a few local vets. Rattner in Island Park is where I will be going. Here's rates I was given over the phone: Island park $110 includes visit & shots Crawford 516-599-0256 $130 exam & shots East Rockaway 516-887-3322 $69 exam $34 rabies shot $35 distemper shot ($138 ttl) Oceanside 516-766-6060 $395 includes blood/urine/fecal Baldwin harbor $75 general $31-39 per shot South Bellmore (my current vet that's too far away now) $155 check up w shots Hope this helps!
