Hi! I'm looking for 4yr old preschool suggestions for the fall. I've heard mixed things about Friendship Station, but I don't want to miss enrollment if it's the best...

My daughter is in her third year at Swing Set just off La Fox road. It's a small school. They do gross and fine motor daily as well as kindergarten prep with phonics. There is lots of playtime which is most important at these early ages. Registration begins next month.

Goddard School on North Aurora!!

Mansio Montessori. Such an amazing environment with great teachers who care about your children. Hands down the best education decision I've made for my son who is now 14.

Also my friend just opened a preschool in Elburn and she's great with kids! https://m.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1666923916886696&tsid=0.17639574431814253&source=typeahead

Kids Connection on Dean St. just off of Randall road. They are phenomenal! Renee Gust is the owner and she's the best. Their begindergarten class really helped prepare 2 of my kids for kindergarten. They have morning and afternoon classes. My kids loved going there. They miss all those teachers so much.

Also be warned that there is much more demand than Friendship Station can meet. Even if you do apply there make sure to have a backup as there's a good chance you won't get in. Friendship Station is one of the most affordable choices in the area though.

All three of my kids went to Hand in Hand (at First Baptist in Geneva) and had great experiences academically and socially. I particularly liked the small class size (usually less than 12 with two teachers). I made some very good mom friends there too:).

The Goddard School in St. Charles is amazing! They have small ratios and are very family oriented and child centered.
