I drive from Huntley to Schaumburg to see Dr. Stephen Rittman@Alexian Brother Medical group in Schaumburg next to Lou Malnati's. Super smart and a great Dr. They have late afternoon and weekend hours. I also agree with your friend Sharon Novak, Dr Yelena Shanchuk is wonderful too. I work with her on a regular basis at St. Alexius.

Dr. Pierce has been my GP for over ten years now. He has a busy practice but in all that time I have never had a challenge getting in to see him when I was in need. He is also the GP to the former, now retired, CEO of St. Alexius. He does his rounds early due to his full schedule and is very well respected within the St. Alexius medical community. He is a workaholic. But I see that as a sign of his commitment to all of his patients. I am sorry to hear that others have had some poor experiences.

I would not recommend Warren Pierce to my worst enemy. He is the on staff"doctor" for Lexington Health Care when my mom who has Dementia & Parkinsons, was for physical rehab twice. He visited the patients there at 4 am (not exaggerating) and was impossible to get a hold of when we had questions. When she was released after her first stay at Lexington, I had to take my mom to see him for a follow up. We waited over an hour to see him and the first thing he said to my mom when he finally came in the room was, "Mary, I didn't recognize you with your clothes on."
