Connie Brown ..it is a natural event to eat poop not all dogs will but most dogs do weather you see it or not..cow deer other dogs human..there are food additives that act as a deterrent or the best way is to put in the work and correct the behavior. s ome do it for dominance lacking nutrients and many more reasons also keep in mind that in a tiny piece of kibble the dog can easily identify every individual scent in that tiny morsel of kibble. scent is their first line of recognition introduction and guidance...this may be food driven dominance fear anxiety insecurity or they just like doing it.
