It very much depends on the size of place you are needing for the reception. If it is a small wedding then you could look at Aldreth Village Centre or The church hall in Cottenham. Both are small, but have a rustic feel to them and are very cost effective. If you need larger places then you have Rose Barn Venue near Witcham Toll. There is also Bassmead Manor over by St Neots, and Childerley Hall over by Dry Drayton. Other places to consider include the Maltings (which is quite reasonable on venue hire), Rosewood Pavillion. A great option is you can also hire the cricket Pavillion on the green in Newmarket. The council hire this and at great rates. If you need any help, just ask. I know most venues in the area, due to organising the wedding show (oh and I won't try and sell you any other services !!).
