1- Formal Quote = Email + Attachment from you to client with precise pricing and terms and conditions.+ ask for a deposit 2 - Acceptance = Email from client to you confirming they will proceed + they pay deposit. 3 - Formal Tax Invoice = Email + A ttachment from you confirming exact cost less deposit etc together with payment terms 4 - Follow up for payment when due. --- Special Note - Make sure none of your promotional material, websites etc have anything that contradicts your pricing and terms and conditions.

You may ask them if they use Purchase Orders. If they do get the PO number upfront before the shoot so that you can put it on your invoice and get paid without delay.
