I cannot possibly say better things about Dr. Jennie Rubenstein and her staff at https://www.facebook.com/107136966012705Jockey Hollow Veterinary Practice of Warwick. My 6 year old pup has had numerous issues, and she's been fantastic. From her medical knowledge getting it right, being thorough but not overdoing tests, to knowing when to send us to a specialist - or not to, to always being available when something's going on....she's great. She's spent almost an hour with us on visits, called us to check in on holidays when we were having an episode....as nice a person as she is a great vet. http://jhvet.com/

I am looking for info on Dr John S Walker, specifically a date of death. He was a doctor in Goshen in the mid 1800s
Laurie R. replied:
Anna S. Smith, born March 30, 1836 in Ohio. She married Dr. John Walker; born in from Hills Station, Claremont County, Ohio.
Milly H. replied:
Dec. 15, 1810 Warren County Ohio, USA Death: 1890 Bourbon County Kansas, USA John S. Walker was born the fourth child of the union of Samuel B. and Hannah Spence Walker. He was a practicing physician as well as a farmer. John S. Walker's farm was located southeast of Hill's station in Goshen Township, Clermont County, Ohio. Proof of this is found in "Acts of the State of Ohio, Vol. 79." On 29 Mar 1882, the House of Representatives and Senate passed House Bill No. 154 to construct free turnpike roads in Clermont County, Ohio. The bill stated that the fifth road was to begin "in the village of Goshen, thence on the Goshen and Lebanon road in a northwest direction.... thence southwest on the new road to the line of John S. Walker, at the school-house in sub- district No.4, thence in a northwest direction.. ..to the Marietta railroad at Hill's station." John S. Walker was 25 when he married his first wife Nancy Campbell on 7 Aug 1836. After 29 years of marriage, she died on 2 Apr 1866. She is buried in Murdoch Cemetery, Warren County, Ohio. Two footstones stand next to the gravestone of Nancy Campbell Walker with the initials G. L and J. W. These may have been children that died in infancy. On 13 Dec 1866 at age 55, John S. Walker married his second wife Rebecca Jane Drake. She died on 30 Oct 1870 after only four years of marriage. On 16 Aug 1871 at age 60, John S. Walker married his third wife Anna S. Smith. The 1880 Federal Census shows John S. Walker (age 69) and Annie Walker (age 44) living in Goshen, Clermont Co, Ohio. In the early 1880's, they moved to Fort Scott, Bourbon Co., Kansas. The Kansas State Census of 1885 shows that they lived in Marmaton, Bourbon Co., Kansas. John Walker probably sold his property in Goshen and moved to Marmaton. According to a 1891 map of Goshen Township, Clermont Co, Ohio, John Walker no longer owned the farm in Hills Station. The 1895 census shows that Anna S. Walker was a widow. The 1900 census shows that Anna S. Smith had one son who had died before 1900. John Walker, Jr., is listed with 28 other cousins on the Application to Probate Will for Thomas D. Walker. It reads: "Application to Probate Will in the Probate Court Warren County, Ohio, Thomas D. Walker Deceased ...who died on 18 May 1890. Said Testator died leaving Eliza A. Walker, his widow, and the following persons, all of his next of kin resident in the State of Ohio." It then lists the "Name, Degree of Kinship, and P.O. Address" of Thomas D. Walker's next of kin living in Ohio. Among those listed is a "John Walker, Jr., nephew, Cincinnati, O." Since he is listed as a Junior, he would have to be the son of Dr. John S. Walker. Family links: Parents: Samuel Brice Walker (1779 - 1845) Hannah Spence Walker (1786 - 1851) Spouses: Nancy Campbell Walker (1802 - 1866) Rebecca Jane Drake Walker (1823 - 1870) Anna S.
