Any local parents know of a good eye doctor for kids?
I just went through some paperwork I received from the school system, and it says they "strongly" recommend...

In my 15 years as a School Psychologist the consultants for kiddos with visual impairments in So.IN sang the praises of Dr. Peggy Fishman. I suspect she's busy, however, and am not sure how hard she is to get into but might be worth a call:) Here's her website: http://www.ecforkids.com/

just have the pediatrician do it... she only really needs the basic eye chart prob... if he sees vision issues then you can think a bout an eye doctor.. as for Dr. Black.... unless you can go any time during the day they are booked all the time (well when I have tried to get apt for Tre so I gave up and take him to Dr. Bizer type places (always as a walk in)

Same here, the pediatrician took care of it for many years. Kendall went to my eye dr this year for the first time. I use Dr. Dice with Visionary Eye Care, he is great!
James L. replied:
I go to Bradley Black and Carolyn Hall at Eye Associates. They have offices in Jeff and New Albany.
Melissa D. replied:
Who do you go to Wendy & Sarah? Sophie goes to Jeff Pediatrics.
Sarah W. replied:
They go to Southern Indiana Pediatrics.
Nicole T. replied:
We go to Dr. Black also, all the doctors there are great with kids!
