Teresa: does anyone recommend a reasonable dermatologist? My husband is suffering with eczema and we are between insurances! Argh!
Michelle I. replied:
Dr Radonich at Alamitos dermatological medical clinic. The BEST dermatologist for sure! (562) 598-8593.

I always look things up on The People's Pharmacy. They are in the Press Telegram once a week. They use home remedies and they work! http://www.peoplespharmacy.com/ just type in eczema in search.

Just a quick note...Neosporin just came out with new "cream" specifically for eczema. It's called Eczema Essentials Daily Moisturizing Cream, and the main ingredient is colloidal oatmeal. It works so well, it wouldnt hurt to give it a try! (and i think I bought it at CVS)

My daughter also has eczema and we've used the UCLA medical group (Dr. Ronald Cotliar). We were prescribed some creams, but we ended up clearing her eczema when she started to regularly take probiotics. You can purchase them at Sprouts (either pill or powder) or go to the pharmacy and buy it over the counter. It worked wonders. Good luck.
