Child care aware will help you find a daycare. Also, LaDuska Johnson-Howell is fantastic! She is in Eudora just off of K10

Thanks Kristine, and yes Sandy is right. I do teach preschool here, and stopped taking little babes almost 2 years ago. My ages are now 12 months to 5 years. Sandy, give Child Care Aware a call. They will help you find a place for your little one. Always look for a licensed home if looking for a home based day care.

Yikes. Just be careful with making sure to choose a licensed childcare provider. I have seen things go very wrong when people just use friends or people in their area who are not licensed to provide child care. Also, there is also the threat of "illegal care" which Child Care Aware or KDHE can give you the definition of. I am sure you're protective though! Have you tried the Ballard Center in North Lawrence?
