Definitely not Hales Corners Pet Store (or any pet store for that matter)! No need to support the horrible abuse going on in puppy mills when there are so many wonderful dogs available for adoption! I bet you could find a breed similar to what you're looking for at https://www.facebook.com/245242551894 Bichon And Little Buddies Rescue!

We got our guy almost 2 years ago from New Beginnings Shih Tzu Rescue and feel so blessed. We were told he was over 4 years old and were surprised when our vet saw him and said he was a well trained 18 month old. They are so helpful and really help you find a perfect match. Happy to hear Hailey is doing well.:)

If you go to any pet store you will 1- be buying a commercially bred dog (a dog bred strictly for profit to be sold). These dogs usually have no health testing done and you will never see the parents. 2- will spend more money than at any rescue or shelter. Puppy from a pet store - $850-$2000 no shots, not spayed/neutered, no microchip. Puppy from a breeder -$500-$2000 shots, meet the parents, no microchip, not spayed/neutered. Puppy from most rescues/shelters -$300-500 spayed/neutered, shots, microchipped, might meet a mother dog. Do your research as to what is important to you.

I have a shih-tzu/Bichon, I found her breeder under tea cup puppies. She was only suppose to be 11 lbs, my Rosie is 22 lbs, and does not shed! You are welcome to go on my wall. Rosie is the black and white. Gracie Mae is also a non shedder., she is tan. We think she is shih-tzu/wheaton.

https://www.facebook.com/735896379792704 Topofthe Ridge Kennels has good ones that are reasonable. Also Pattys Pups in Gurnee, IL. We love our teddy bear and can snuggle with him and no allergies!
Kathleen Z. replied:
A Shih Tzu/Bichon mix is a "Teddie". Rescues are full of them, please adopt one, nice to teach an important life lesson and educate on the reasons for adopting, instead of buying off an ad, like the one listed below out of Wisc which is really a puppy mill. Great Breeders don't advertise that way, and never teacups, yikes! Look on Petfinder for a rescue near where you live. This one I recenly fostered from our rescue, which is in Hartland, Wi, a sweet Shih Tzu. There are many great rescues near you, and they will help you find a great fit. Good luck!

I know for a fact that raccoon's hate 'Vanilla Scented Ozium' . I have a huge Linden Tree in front of my house aprox.10 feet from my bedroom window. There have been 6-8 huge raccoon's up in that tree fighting many times over the last several years. One night I impulsively grabbed the can of vanilla ozium that my son left near the front door, and sprayed it for 30-40 seconds or so out of the front door. All of the snarling stopped, and after a few minutes they came down one-by-one. Feet first. Seriously! A couple were bigger then our Sheltie we had at the time. Another time they were in the back yard playing on our hammock so I sprayed some through the back window, and again they stopped and left. Its worth a try. It's available at Advanced Auto on Whitnall. $10 or so. ( Warning: It does contain Pfthallates )

Hi there!
I'm in Kenosha and our neighborhood seems to have become a home for a lost fox. He stays within one block all day, I've seen him for the last three days. Who...
Wildlife S. replied:
Hi Nicollette. This time of year this very likely is a juvenile fox. She is starting to forage about and explore the neighborhood on her own, but still dependent on the parents for food. No action is necessary. Another possibility is she may be sick. Two fairly common fox-problems: Canine distemper -- signs include apathy/lack of fear of people; goopy/crusty eyes; nasal discharge; circling/aimless wandering; seizures. Or Mange -- missing patches of fur or even essentially naked; crusty skin, often with sores; crusty skin around eyes narrows eyes to mere slits. If you think she is sick, please give us a call at 414-431-6204 and leave a message. We'll call you back ASAP. Thanks!
