Hey fellow Donelson-ites,
Anyone have recommendations for outstanding pharmacies? Sadly, Target/CVS is not a preferred provider on my plan

Have you tried Wal Mart ....

There's a new mail order pharmacy near the airport - it is through an app called CareZone. You can read more about them on carezone.com.

I use Kroger on Lebanon Pk in Hermitage. They call you when prescription is ready. Call them at 615 883-4259 to see if they take your insurance.
Paula P. replied:
I have been a Kroger pharmacy customer for a long time - ever since Revco (which used to be Super X) changed to CVS! I can't remember now what I didn't like about CVS, but I didn't like it. When I lived in Inglewood (been in Donelson six years - lived in Inglewood for 23 years), I used that Kroger (Gallatin Road at Greenfield), and had no problem whatsoever changing to the McGavock Pike location when I moved in 2011. At times, I have used the 24-hour Kroger Pharmacy on Old Hickory Blvd. when the McGavock Pike location has been out of something I've needed, or when I have needed something after hours. All employees seem to be very kind and helpful, and I am in their computer for them to text me when my prescriptions are ready. I think you can also choose the phone call notification option if you prefer.

Scott Burka at Target in Mt Juliet is awesome!!! I’m in Smyrna now, miss him!!
Tom L. replied:
If your pharmacy plan is Express Scripts,, then Walgreen is your answer. I believe Kroger also participates.
