The Alcazaba and Roman theater are worth seeing. And the views from the AC terrace are spectacular. But just a walk around the city center is something I always enjoy. Have fun!

Start your day at www.casa-aranda.net . They are open from 7 am til noon-ish and serve the most fantastic churros and chocolate. If you wish you may be better to have just one or two cups of chocolate (this is not thin ColaCao, of course, but the really, really thick sauce type . for dipping and dunking not drinking! ) and then your usual coffees. And ask for a couple of glasses of water. They are just round the corner from the huge and spectacular Mercado Central de Atarazanas: Take your cameras there first.

Also Museo Automovilistico De Malaga. This is not for "petrol-heads" . you'll love the hats and fashions that match up with the cars! Plus...museo de artes populares for customs, etc and the new-ish museo de vidrio y cristal. I know it's often maligned but look up Trip Advisor for Bars and Restaurants. That' me done!! LOL
Any recommendations for a nice tapas restaurant in Nerja please
Ron A. replied:
La Pontilla on Calle Bolivia; Los Pescaitos on Chaparil, and my favorite: El Puligilla on Post Office Street (Almirante Ferrándiz). These are traditional Tapas places: a wine or beer or water with a choice of tapa for Euros 2 or less. At lunch time, El Puente on the other side of the old cobblestone bridge is great!

Sabor a Nerja in Calle Almirante Ferrandiz. Typical Andalucian place with amazing food and great people!

Maria Bonita have vegetarian too! They serve both good meat and good veg. I remember I once ate there and ordered a really big salad with fruit and vegs and it was serve inside a pinapple. They decorate all plates and they look very nice. Also ordered some cucumber pieces with some other vegs inside and cooked in the oven. It had goat cheese. ..but I guess it's not problem for them to cook it without it if you ask them for. I think you would like.:)
