The trend right now is Adobe Premier (and the cs6 suite), but its what works best for you.... some people stuck with final cut Pro, and a few even went to final cut x (but many say steer clear of X)... you also have a few people running Avid. I personally use Sony Vegas Pro, and do some stuff in PremiereCS6/AfterEffects
