We had Madore Carpentry install our IKEA kitchen cabinets. Madore offered a much better quote than using the IKEA installers. They did a wonderful job and I love the IKEA cabinets and drawers

We use a lot of ikea in our kitchen renos. (Murdock Construction) Great quality and price. We much prefer ikea to Home Depot and other box store cabinets. They are poorer quality and take weeks to order so if there's an issue, your weeks out from solving problem. IKEA Comparatively to custom- custom is 20-50% more $, and more size and style options (unlimited). IKEA is very limited in styles and sizing. If you have a funky kitchen, you may need custom to get optimal storage/functionality. If it's your forever home, maybe go custom. But if you're not staying forever and want to sell, you won't see the extra $ you put in for custom come back to you. Hope that helps!

She can explain the difference between the quality of different types of materials and what you can expect to happen after a couple of years. She can also design from your budget. She's been in business for over 14 years.

Hi. Hubby and I own & operate Castor River Woodworks http://bit.ly/1 ysYKGs. I'd be happy to share info with you about 'boxed' cabinets (ie. Ikea or Home Depot style) vs custom built, some planning tips that can save you a lot of stress, and personally introduce you to other contractors you'll need to finish the job (plumber, electrician etc.) In the end - it's all about finding you the best solution that fits.
