Good for you Lauren Retford is lovely! We only moved here in April so still have lots of places to explore. Retford is a lovely market town full of lovely shops, restaurants & bars etc. The Chequers Inn is nice esp in summer by the canal, and The Gate Inn, and The Herbalist lovely platters, and Dantes Italian opposite. And lots of pubs for traditional pub meals. I hope you will be very happy here we have settled very well
