Karima Z. replied:
Boston Sports Club in Westborough has those types of classes. Nice Facility. Pretty sure the YMCA in Northborough does too.

Diane Cournoyer in Norhtboro and Elite in Shrewsbury. Diane is all Rec. Elite has both. Love both owners and my daughter is an amazing dancer thanks to them!

Elite academy of dance has a wonderful well round dance program for all dancers needs and interests. This includes non competitive classes as well. Our staff is qualified, educated and well rounded! Feel free to contact info@elitedance-ma.com for a free trial class! Quality sets elite apart :)

Vanessa, please give Judy A. Hermans Dance a call 508-842-4999. We have been teaching dance in Shrewsbury for 30 yrs. & offer both recreational & competitive dance classes. Your daughter is welcome to try a free trial class.
Melissa G. replied:
Another vote for Diane Kelley in west boylston! My almost 2 year old daughter goes there and we are so happy with that place!
Erin H. replied:
I second Elite Academy of Dance. I have a 9-year-old daughter who competes there and a 6-year-old who does recreational classes - both love it. The teachers are wonderful with young kids!
Caren M. replied:
Diane Kelley in West Boylston. Miss Anne Marie has a true talent for teaching the little ones!
Christy R. replied:
Definitely Diane Cournoyer in Northboro! They are incredibly kind and encouraging to the kids. The other thing that is important to us is the modesty factor. None of the finale costumes, no matter the age, have exposed tummies. Maybe that doesn't matter to you, but thought I'd mention it.
Restaurants
My husband and I are new to Shrewsbury and were curious if any of you had recommendations for restaurants. Can you offer any suggestions for pizza,...
Charles C. replied:
Hi Stacy. Welcome to Shrewsbury. I moved here back in March with my gf and I must say that most of the really good restaurants are in Worcester. I'm still finding my way around the area but here are a few I would recommend: Check out: Boynton http://www.boyntonrestaurant.com/ordereze/default.aspx If you are into Sushi, check out Baba http://babasushi.com/ If you are willing to venture out to Framingham about 20 minutes check out: http://www.sambaframingham.com/
Amanda J. replied:
I'm relocating to the area in June, and I've been on many trips trying to tie all the loose ends up-- I love Harry's Restaurant on Rt 9; they are opened until 1 am on the weekdays and 2 am on the weekends. They offer a little bit of everything and the staff is super sweet! I go out there everytime I'm in the area; http://www.westborough.com/harrys/harrys.htm And also.. have heard sooo many great things about Sole Proprieter in Worcester; it's definitely worth checking out as well!

Paul D. replied:
Planet Fitness, reasonably priced and they have a lot of equipment.
Mary T. replied:
I loved Planet Fitness in W. Boylston for years and was psyched when they opened in Shrewsbury. I quit within a year because it was always so busy at the times I could go I couldn't get near any weights or equipment. Very disappointed. Can't beat the price.
John M. replied:
I use and LOVE Boost Fitness, $20 bucks a month and its open 24/7! It feels like it's never busy like the Y and their are no lines for any machine or wights! (They recently got new machines that count your reps and time of use which is cool to log! http://myboostfitness.com/northborough-schedule/
Laura S. replied:
Whoops. I highly recommend Fitness Asylum like Carrick O'Brien said
Beth C. replied:
I would check out All Access Fitness Academy on route 9 behind best tile. Knowledgeable trainers lead all the group exercise classes. Very clean. Also a 20 minute full body circuit that is great for building muscle. Really the best gym I've been to for building muscle in a very safe environment focused on correct form and not getting hurt.
