Does anyone know of a hairdresser/barber in Taipei that actually speaks good English? I'm sick and tired of getting haircuts that I hate due to lack of communication....

Yves Yu Tsui, is remarkable! she does not only speak English, but also learned in England so she can actually cut hair that isn't Asian. She does wonder to my wavy-curly hair which is hard to be tamed in this humid weather. You should give it a try.

Barber Shop recommendations in Taipei? Does anyone have any recommendations for a barbershop in Taipei that speaks english and can give a decent, modern cut? Thanks!

I've found a picture of (ideally of yourself with) the haircut you have in mind to be pretty effective, though my cut is not particularly difficult. I suppose it's also possible my barber is amazing and I got lucky. It's hard to say because I don't get a fancy haircut.
