Dr Mooney on East Main st is another great place. I know they used to take Husky, I'd assume they still do, but can't say for sure. Where I know for certain that Horizon does and they are super friendly, everybody seems to like them and the work they've done and they will get you in fairly quick too.

I was going to say Dr. Lee but he's in Bristol at Kids Dental on Rt 6. Great office!

WOW Joan WOW there are people who are born with disabilities they don't deserve healthcare? Or how about Veterans? Or how about Foster care children in the system? Or how about individuals born with mental health issues? Or a family that works but their employer doesn't offer health insurance but so they have Husky and contribute to their insurance premiums? Or how about people who have pre existing conditions and couldn't get health insurance from anyone else? The list goes on and before you judge others be careful because you just gave yourself and whole bunch of bad karma...

You can call the Dental # 1-855-283-3682, they can tell you who is accepting Husky at this time. Unfortunately providers can drop Husky, so its best to call and get a recent list.

Omg, he so is! I think he retired, & Dr. Patel took over. I went there from 1985 til the mid 2000's, & I remember having to pay out of pocket one time... A cleaning & X-rays was $120 - back in like 2001!

Dr baujin is good. Started going to him once dr traub sold his practice and dr Pollack took over. Felt like I was in a bodega! They conveniently lost my records of 20+ years with Dr Traub.

If you want to drive as far as Canton, Dr. Bogucki is the BEST. I went there when we moved to Canton 40 years ago. We moved to Torrington a year later but I have continued to go to Dr. Bo because I just cannot find anyone like him. So gentle and kind. He was voted one of the top ten dentists in Ct in Connecticut Magazine. Taught at UCONN dental school. He's a real sweetheart. Explains everything he does. And very conservative, always concerned about your pocketbook.

Community dentist in Middletown. They were awesome when I was at Uni. They work off a sliding fee scale, pay according to your income. Good luck, hope they are still there.

Doctor Davidson retired several years ago. The practice is still there with Dr. Kuzman and he is very good.

Dr. Lee on Migeon. I currently see him right now, he's a great dentist! Dr. Lee cleans the younger kids teeth and a hygienist cleans the older kids teeth!

Dr. Lee is just for kids and is fabulous. Dr Davison is a great dentist for adults. I have been using him for years!

Dr baujin is great. Know him personally and he would be my dentist if I didn't still see my childhood dentist, Dr Marolda in Winsted. He's great too!

Dr B is my son's boy scout leader. He has 2 really cool kids of his own. He's great with kids.

Dr. Lee on Migeon Ave is great. I've been taking my daughter there since she was 2. They are sooo good with the kids.

I agree Dr. Lee of Pediatric Dentistry on Migeon is fabulous. My 2 girls 7 & 2 go to him and love visiting the dentist.

WOW that so rare for any doctor to do that now lol, god bless him. I do have coverage but it is a Dental HMO plan like I mentioned above and a lot of docs won't go near those anymore. I will give their office a call soon and thanks so much for the responses. My llast experience with Torrington dentists was with Aspen Dental and all I can say is "UGH" never again.

I used to go to Dr Blondin (eyes) and he is great. He currently doesn't take my insurance anymore so I switched to Opticare and saw Dr Rodier. I was very happy with him as well. Very thorough eye exam.

For dentist my husband goes to Dr Gargiulo and is very happy with him. I've use Dr Alan Sherman forever but not sure if he is taking new clients.
