There's an article on UlsanOnline.com that lists all of the ski resorts in Korea, and another that describes High One. The reason High One is favoured is because there are buses from Ulsan to the resort, whereas the others (besides Muju) require you to sort out your own transportation.

You can easily find out Korean cosmetic brands such as the face shop, skin food, laneige, lacvert and more on the first floor in E Mart or Lotte Mart. Two branch offices of E Mart are located in Haksung-dong and Samsan-dong. Lotte Mart is located in Dal-dong. Please refer to the following links for the direction but I am sorry it's korean. Hi all!Anyone know of a great Indian restaurant in Ulsan?
Caitlin D. replied:
i've been to the one in bangojin a few times... it's called shailmar and the food is amazing and never had trouble with service. you can call them@052 234 0786 for directions. more variety and more legit, but namaskar is good too. there is also a good sized indian grocery store in the back. the dudes cousin owns a place in mugeo called university halal, but i am yet to find it.
Janna G. replied:
i won't live there til end of August but I saw this today when I was researching vegetarian places to eat when I get there... can't wait to check it out! http://ulsanonline.com/restaurant_guide/?p=185

university halal... ulsan namgu mugeo dong 847-1. near the university back gate, phone number, 010 8062 9035. open 5-11, again, it's the cousin of the shalimar guy, so i assume it will be the same quality. if you find it let me know where it is landmark wise :) and that link janna put up, blerg! the food was really nothing special, but the service was terrible. the decor is pretty cool if you wanna hang out and have a drink...

If you need highlights, its worth a trip to Busan to Soo Casa hair. She really knows what she is doing and is a hairdresser that can be compleatly trusted!
Emily S. replied:
Yes, I got a full head of very blonde highlights. She had to do her best to fix a blonde highlight disaster I got here in Ulsan and she really knew what she was doing. She's at Jangsan Station, out exit #1, on the first floor (#122, 1F Samjeong Core) of the building that the Coffee Bean is in. However she is very popular, especially with the foreigners. Word of her expertise is spreading so it's best to book. The number is 051 703 8555. It's expensive ($170 -ish) but I think when you're messing with blonde dye here in Korea it is well worth the expense!!!!
Be prepared to have to hunt out ingredients at different shops, too. There's not one place that will have everything you want, usually, though you may luck out. The Bakery Supply store, Foreign Mart, Costco and the Home Pluses are your best bet for foreign ingredients - their locations can be found through the Where to Find section on Ulsanonline.com or some are on the new interactive map.
Barry O. replied:
There's a British pub called Golden Eagles, but the busiest place will be in Cima probably. If you send it's Facebook page a message I'm sure Al the owner will sort you out with directions.
