Cheryl Everett LPN does private duty care (941)468-3978. Available for day shifts, and medication management (by law needs to be done by a nurse not CNA). Reasonable rates.

Venice Senior Friendship Center has day care. That will be the least expensive. Companion agencies charge upward of $18 per hour and hands on care at home will cost $20/hour or more. If you hire someone privetly, make sure you thoroughly investigate them.
