You can try Craig's list. I used to pet sit and advertised on there. Or care.com but happy tails does a interview with the pet and if your dog likes swimming, they got an indoor pool.
Tammie H. replied:
I'm on care.com for pet sitting!

Anyone that has done the Costa Rica childcare project, were you placed in an orphanage/daycare/kindergarten class/ect can you tell me about your work day?
Kelsie S. replied:
https://www.facebook.com/liz.merrett was in childcare while in the country this past summer, and I taught English. :) The "typical day" can be different for different people. For both Liz and myself, we had "work" in the mornings. Take the bus or walk to Maximo Nivel (HQ w hile in the country) to be there by 8:00 a.m. Get back after the project around 1:00 p.m. or so. Then you have the rest of the afternoon to relax/take Spanish classes/whatever you want to do. There's a morning shift and and afternoon shift, usually. I can't really say much about childcare, but for teaching English, I WAS the teacher at a church in Barrio Cuba. I had to make my own lesson plans, worksheets, everything. Most of them are NOT like that, I don't think. I know some teachers were like assistants, pretty much. I loved every minute of my time in the country, and I wouldn't hesitate to go back tomorrow. If y'all have any more questions, don't hesitate to message me. I was in the country for 10 weeks, and so was Liz. I feel like we should know some things. Ha ha.

See I love that setting! How do you choose where to stay? Or do you not? How's the volunteer house? Is it a hostel or like an apartment styled home owned by the company? https://www.facebook.com/nathy1024
Nathalia L. replied:
https://www.facebook.com/olivia.p.soto unfortunately, you don't...but hopefully you do get placed in that one! The house has 7-8 rooms upstairs, and very much like a hostel.
Olivia S. replied:
Did you stay with other volunteers or by yourself with a family? https://www.facebook.com/nathy1024
Olivia S. replied:
Ohhh, I was just wondering. Costa Rica is my next choice hopefully! My favorite part other then volunteering in Colombia and being with the kids was bonding with the volunteers and hanging around at night.

Cosmos corner. That's where we take ours. And they are awesome. They don't crate the dogs at night they let them sleep on furniture and beds. We love then. Go check out their website London bridge road. WWW.cosmoscorneronline.com

Here is a link to the BFinCB website and the page about shipping milk....http://breastfeedingincombatboots.com/faq/deployments/shipping-milk/
The B. replied:
If you're shipping within the U.S., FedEx ships over night. Place frozen milk in a styrofoam container with a dry ice pack and fill any empty area with styrofoam chips. Place container in cardboard box and ship. If you're in the U.S., google milk banks in your area to get a referral for a less expensive courier. If you're outside the U.S., google milk bank in whatever country you're in. Wishing you and your little one all the best. Thank you for your service. http://breastfeeding.about.com/od/faqs/f/shipbreastmilk.htm

The United Methodist church on 16 th street at the oceanfront. They will have a waiting list but an excellent program. I believe broad bay starts at 2 or even 3. Parish Day does take some young 2's. Stratford starts at 3. Sunnybrooke I think starts at2 or 3. Unfortunately, there are very limited options at the Oceanfront for children under 2.

Little Beginnings Christian Center. My 3 year old goes there and I love it. They are licensed to be open until 11 pm and open at 5:30. It's located off HWY 431 nexto Waffle House. I pay $207 every 2 weeks. Next week they are taking the kids to Disney on Ice. The owner's name is Teresa. They are very professional and EXTREMELY clean!
