Dr. Manfredini in Wauconda is a Naprapath http://www.waucondawellnessgroup.com/index.html Otherwise, Dr. Schroeder at Barrington Orthopedic is excellent. He did my moms reverse shoulder surgery. Not only is he competent, he also has great bedside manners.

Anyone have a good recommendation for an orthopedic spine surgeon in IL? Anyone have an especially good experience and outcome?? Much appreciated thanks!
Jim M. replied:
Dr Brebach. Lake Cook Orthopedics. Amazing and he fixed my back both times.
Lori E. replied:
Great ortho surgeons at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge. Specifically, Dr. Visotsky. (He has an outpatient office there, too.)
Krys A. replied:
Dr. Perlmutter at Lake Cook Orthopedics. The part I really appreciated was that he was conservative with the hardware he used to stabilize my back. He felt that, because I was relatively young at the time of the surgery, he went with the tried and true hardware rather than the latest and greatest cutting edge technology that would possibly lead to a recall down the road. Within 4 weeks of having a lower back spinal fusion, I was up to walking a mile a day in therapy. 6 years later, my back is solid and pain free (knock on wood).
Kathy J. replied:
Dr Panchal operated on my spine last year & he operated on several people in my family. My niece's back was so bad three other doctors refused to operate on her. Dr Panchal operated & she is doing great. He is in crystal Lake.
Eric R. replied:
Lake Cook Ortho has been great over the years. many broken bones fixed and my knee scoped. I have heard good spine results with Perlmutter. They will be replacing my knee next year.
Bridgett M. replied:
Dr Regan works for Illinois Bone and Joint and Northwest Community. He personally called my husband with some gnarly MRI results then stayed late to do an emergency surgery.
Jim M. replied:
Dr Mardjetko for a Pediatric Ortho Surgeon
Kris G. replied:
Dr Chris Bergen at the Spine Center Lutheran General
Jo T. replied:
Dr. Robert Erickson, Libertville, IL. Both of my surges and both for my husband. His team is great and his follow up is great as well.
Mike J. replied:

Mark K. replied:
Avi Bernstein, Spine Center at Lutheran General. Fixed my back almost 15 years ago with no problems. I even still play hockey.
